Lord Mayor’s Chapel

College Green, Bristol

The Lord Mayor’s Chapel on College Green in Bristol is stunning. We were lucky enough to be shown around the building and were amazed by the timber framing that has lasted so well for 800 years.

For this unique project we made a hymn book trolley, lectern, display cabinet and communion table. The brief was to produce pieces that fitted in with the very traditional surroundings, so we worked with specially selected English quarter sawn oak using mortice and tenon joints. We hope that our furniture will last well and that generations to come can enjoy it.

Style: Traditional
Materials: English quarter sawn oak
Other key info: Guild of Guardian’s badge
